Job Description
Required Education:
• High School Diploma or GED.

Required Experience/Skills:
• Production scheduling experience.
• Manufacturing planning experience.
• Microsoft Excel & Word proficiency (spreadsheets and documentation).
• Attention to detail and accuracy (especially with numbers and inventory control).
• Strong communication skills (cross-functional collaboration).

Preferred/Nice-to-Have Skills:
• SAP experience (ERP system used by the company).
• Inventory control background.
• Experience with other ERP systems (Oracle, etc.) may help, but SAP is unique.

Responsibilities:
• Initially a support role for existing demand planners.
• Over time, may take on specific product planning responsibilities as they learn.
• Core tasks align with job description:
• Develop and maintain production schedules.
• Plan materials and manage inventory.
• Use the MRP system for forecasting and planning.
• Prepare requisitions for materials/components.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and procurement teams.
• Develop & maintain production schedules to ensure timely delivery of product
• Plan materials ensuring optimal inventory levels are maintained
• Use the MRP system to forecast demands, plan production and manage inventory, with a strong understanding of production planning principles.
• Prepare requisitions to obtain necessary materials & components.
• Collaborate with the manufacturing team to ensure deadlines are met.
• Collaborate with the purchasing/procurement team to ensure supplier timeliness.
• Comply with all company regulations and safety standards, following SOPs / MPIs.
• Knowledge of the bill of materials.
• Product phase in/ phase out knowledge.
• Support of R&D new product releases from the R&D phase through release to production.
• Strong knowledge of SAP.
