Job Description
***Only qualified AV Event Support Specialist candidates located near Charlotte, NC will be considered, as this position requires a hybrid work schedule with in-office 3 days per week***



Preferred Education:

• High School or equivalent experience



Preferred Certifications:

• CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) or equivalent certification.



Required Qualifications:

• AV Control Systems and Event Execution

• Familiarity with Poly conferencing systems or similar

• Experience with M365 Environment. Experience with Cisco Webex a plus

• Hands-on experience with audio systems (microphones, mixers, amplifiers) and video systems (cameras, switchers, projectors)

• Familiarity with Poly conferencing systems and AV signal flow.

• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to lift and transport AV equipment (up to 50 lbs).

• Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.



Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with streaming platforms and hybrid event technologies.

• Knowledge of AV control systems and networking basics.



Role:

Event support for town halls and events within the Charlotte office and assisting with remote support for further enterprise events.



Key Responsibilities:

• Event Setup & Operation:

- Configure and operate audio and video systems for corporate events, town halls, and executive meetings.

- Ensure proper signal flow and connectivity across AV components.

- Provide technical expertise for Microsoft Teams and Webex platforms

- Troubleshoot platform issues during live sessions.



• Collaboration & Communication:

- Partner with event organizers, IT teams, and external vendors to align technical requirements.

- Offer real-time support and problem resolution during events.



• Equipment Management:

- Maintain AV inventory and ensure equipment readiness.

- Perform routine maintenance and escalate repair needs promptly.
