Job Description
***Only qualified Instrument Test Technician candidates located near the job location area will be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence***



Educations

• Associate degree in Mechatronics or relevant field with 0 years of experience or 5 years of experience in electrical, mechanical, or software troubleshooting



Qualifications

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

• Ability to support testing of moderately complex instruments

• Leadership ability with mentoring and coaching experience

• Knowledge of Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing principles

• Experience using mechanical tools including torque drivers gauges and bits

• Ability to read drawings and interpret measurements and dimensions

• Strong time management and multitasking skills

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

• Understanding of quality procedures and manufacturing processes

• Proficient in English reading writing and basic arithmetic

• Basic PC and Windows environment proficiency required

• Strong communication and problem solving skills



Responsibilities

• Build integrate and understand the entire assembly process and requirements for instruments in the production area

• Perform functional and release testing on moderately complex instruments

• Analyze test results and determine pass fail outcomes

• Provide solutions for failed test results and optimize system performance

• Identify defects and recommend design and process improvements

• Read and interpret drawings work instructions and workmanship standards

• Train associates on mechanical and testing activities

• Complete production activities in compliance with regulatory safety and quality requirements

• Interface with Manufacturing Engineering Quality Planning and Purchasing teams as needed

• Follow defined specifications operating procedures and company policies

• Perform material handling functions for instrument raw materials and sub assemblies

• Maintain a safe clean and organized work environment

• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices GMP

• Follow all client housekeeping and safety policies and procedures

• Work overtime as required to support business needs

• Perform additional duties as assigned
