Job Description
Preferred Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, Information Technology, or related field (preferred)



Required Qualifications:

• Epic Experience: Minimum 3+ years working with Epic Home Health & Hospice (Dorothy/Comfort), charge capture, and coding processes

• Epic Certifications: Dorothy/Comfort Clinical, Ambulatory, and Radar (required)

• Expertise: Experience with build, testing, support, upgrades, and optimization of Epic systems. Knowledge of Dorothy/Comfort Billing workflows and Quality Review is essential

• Strong Communication & Collaboration Skills: Ability to partner with clinical, coding, and operations teams for successful system enhancements and training

• Excellent leadership/organizational/communication skills to facilitate workflow discussions, gather and document technical requirements, and educate users (verbally and in writing)

• High level understanding of Dorothy Comfort Billing workflows

• Detailed experience with Quality Review workflows

• Detailed experience in Home Care report writing, report validation, and troubleshooting



Preferred Qualifications:

• Dorothy/Comfort Billing, Cogito

• Full cycle implementation experience a plus

• Rover (Dorothy Comfort mobile) experience a plus



Client is seeking a skilled Epic Home Health and Hospice Analyst to join the Epic Homer Health and Hospice (Dorothy/Comfort) team. This key role will work closely with Home Care clinical operations, centralized coding teams, and operational stakeholders to implements and enhance Epic systems functionalities related to charge capture and coding for Home Health and Hospice Services. The Home Health and Hospice Build Analyst will focus on Epic charging-related system enhancements, ensuring smooth implementation, testing, and training.



Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with epic applications analysts, home Care operations, and centralized coding teams to gather and define requirements for charge capture, review, and reconciliation

• Design, build and configure Epic System enhancements for Home Health and Hospice (Dorothy/Comfort) workflows, focusing on charging-related updates

• Perform thorough testing of charge capture functionality to ensure proper system performance, identifying and resolving issues with the help of operational stakeholders

• Partner with clinical and coding teams to develop and implement training plans for successful adoption of new system features and workflows

• Work with Home Care operations to identify and track key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness and success of system enhancements

• Facilitates meetings, document action items, and ensure alignment between technical and operational teams

• Escalate technical challenges or process bottlenecks to IT leadership and program governance, facilitating timely resolution of issues
