Job Description
*** Only qualified Enterprise Solutions Architect candidates currently located in the Trenton, NJ area will be considered due to the position requiring an onsite Presence***

Preferred Certifications:
• TOGAF Certification, Certified Enterprise Architect, or similar recognized enterprise architecture credentials that demonstrate formal training
• AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect certifications

Required Experience, Knowledge & Skills:
• Ability to make informed decisions under uncertainty, weigh multiple factors/constraints, and consider long-term implications of architectural choices (7 Years)
• Knowledge of electronic data processing platforms and software (7 Years)
• Knowledge of database/data dictionary systems and applications (7 Years)
• Knowledge of application portfolio management, software design patterns, application integration, legacy system modernization, and app lifecycle management (7 Years)
• Knowledge of data modeling, data governance, master data management, data warehousing, analytics platforms, and data quality frameworks (7 Years)
• Knowledge of infrastructure components, platforms, development tools, middleware, and technology standards. Both on-prem and cloud-based tech stacks (7 Years)
• Ability to prepare clear, accurate, informative reports/documentation on database systems, including creation/maintenance of data dictionary docs (7 Years)
• Ability to collaborate effectively with project teams and stakeholders at all levels (7 Years)
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally with various levels of data center and department personnel (7 Years)
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders (7 Years)
• Ability to maintain essential records and files (7 Years)
• Ability to learn how to utilize various types of electronic and/or manual recording and information systems used by the agency (7 Years)
• Ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English sufficiently to perform the duties of the position (7 Years)
• Experience in government or regulatory environments (7 Years)

The Enterprise Solutions Architect works across Application Development, Service Delivery, and Infrastructure to identify, research, discuss, design, and implement key architecture standards. This role will require a combination of deep technical expertise, business acumen, and leadership skills, requiring someone who can think strategically while understanding the practical implications of architectural decisions across the entire organization.

Job Duties:
• key responsibility involves designing integration strategies for disparate systems, applications, and data sources across the enterprise
• This includes establishing common interfaces, architecture principles, data standards, and best practices
• The role will support senior management on complex technology initiatives and investment decisions
• Additionally, create an architecture review process to evaluate proposed solutions against standards and strategic objectives
• Collaborate with the security team to ensure solutions meet organizational and regulatory requirements
