Job Description
***Only qualified Enterprise Architect candidates located near the Fredericton, NB area to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence***

Required skills:
• Fluent in English and French, demonstrating the ability to communicate verbally and in writing in both languages.
• Substantial experience in enterprise architecture, including creating and maintaining business, data, and application architecture (7 Years)
• Ability to align IT strategies with business goals and objectives, ensuring that all architectural decisions support the overall mission of EECD (7 Years)
• Experience establishing and managing architecture governance processes to ensure alignment with business goals and adherence to standards and best practices (7 Years)
• Possess excellent communication skills to effectively convey architectural concepts and decisions to various stakeholders, including executives, IT teams, and business units (7 Years)
• Minimum 15 years IT experience with a minimum 5 years in an architecture role.

Desired Skills:
• Experience in in creating technology roadmaps that outline the planned evolution of enterprise architecture over time (7+ Years)
• Proven ability to evaluate and rationalize an organization's application portfolio to reduce redundancy and improve efficiency (7+ Years)
• Experience identifying and implementing business process improvements and automation through technology (7+ Years)
• Ability to identify and mitigate architectural risks that could impact operations and objectives (7+ Years)
• Experience in evaluating emerging technologies and assessing their potential impact on enterprise architecture and strategic initiatives (7+ Years)
• Proficiency in both official languages, including demonstrated experience delivering services, producing documentation, facilitating meetings and workshops, and engaging stakeholders in both French and English.
• Bilingual capability has contributed to the successful delivery of similar projects, particularly within multi-stakeholder and/or public-sector environments, where seamless communication in both official languages was essential
