Required Qualifications / Skills / Experience

• 1–2+ years of relevant experience in healthcare administration, insurance, or payer-related processes.

• Strong communication and organizational skills.

• Ability to maintain accurate documentation and follow enrollment processes.

• Experience communicating with providers, internal teams, or external partners.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to track progress of work assignments.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow-up responsibilities.



Preferred Qualifications / Skills / Experience

• Experience with government payers such as Medicare or Medicaid.

• Experience with provider enrollment or credentialing processes.

• Insurance industry experience.

• Experience working with healthcare provider enrollment systems or portals.



Enrollment Coordinator Overview

• The Enrollment Coordinator supports the Payer Enrollment department by managing provider enrollment processes with government and commercial payers, with a focus on behavioral health providers. This role ensures that provider credentialing and payer enrollment applications are completed accurately and submitted on time to support healthcare service delivery.

• The coordinator maintains enrollment documentation, tracks application progress, manages payer portal access, and collaborates with internal teams to resolve credentialing or claim-related issues. This role is critical to ensuring providers are properly enrolled and credentialed to deliver services and receive reimbursement.



Job Duties

• Submit initial and revalidation payer enrollment applications for providers.

• Maintain provider enrollment with government and commercial payers.

• Develop working knowledge of behavioral health payer policies across multiple states.

• Track and document enrollment progress and follow-ups in internal systems.

• Maintain and update credentialing records and government revalidations.

• Communicate with providers via phone or email regarding enrollment status or documentation.

• Collaborate with Regional Directors, Credentialing teams, and AR partners to resolve payer issues.

• Maintain and manage payer web portal access for provider enrollment processes.

• Assist with updates to procedure manuals to ensure enrollment processes remain accurate.

• Participate in team meetings, conference calls, and client-related discussions.

• Onsite role required due to physical mail-based documentation handling

• Focus on behavioral health provider enrollment

• Candidates with insurance experience or Medicare/Medicaid exposure strongly preferred

• Entry-to-mid level opportunity with training potential for motivated candidates
