•Bachelor's degree in Engineering or an equivalent technical discipline.
Job Summary:
•Develop and implement quality assurance methods, procedures, and controls to ensure products meet design specifications and quality standards.
•Monitor manufacturing processes and drive process control and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational performance.
•Conduct testing, inspection, and quality evaluations to identify defects and ensure product reliability and compliance.
•Analyze quality data, defect reports, and non-conforming products to identify trends, determine root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
•Investigate product and process quality issues and support the implementation of effective corrective and preventive actions.
•Partner with supplier representatives to address quality concerns, resolve non-conformances, and improve supplier performance.
•Evaluate supplier corrective actions to ensure issues are effectively resolved and sustainable improvements are achieved.
•Support supplier quality improvement programs through collaboration, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement activities.
•Review and interpret quality metrics and performance data to identify risks and opportunities for improvement.
•Apply engineering principles and quality methodologies to solve complex manufacturing and supplier quality challenges.
•Work independently with minimal supervision while exercising sound judgment and professional expertise in decision-making.
•Ensure compliance with company quality standards, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain to drive quality objectives and business results.
Job Requirements:
•Minimum of 2+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Quality, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
•Experience developing and implementing quality control methods, procedures, and process improvements.
•Knowledge of product testing, inspection, and quality assurance practices.
•Ability to analyze quality data, defect reports, and non-conforming products to identify trends and determine root causes.
•Experience recommending and implementing corrective and preventive actions to address quality issues.
•Experience working directly with suppliers to resolve quality concerns and drive performance improvements.
•Understanding of supplier quality management principles and corrective action processes.
•Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
•Ability to interpret data and make evaluative judgments based on factual information.
•Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, and Supply Chain.
•Strong written and verbal communication skills.
•Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple priorities.
•High attention to detail and commitment to product quality and continuous improvement.
•Proficiency with standard quality tools, methodologies, and reporting systems.
