Job Description
****Only qualified Engineering Intern candidates located near the Salt Lake City, UT area to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence****



Required Qualifications Education

•Associate's Degree in Science Mathematics or Engineering required OR minimum 4 years of related experience



Required Experience

•Laboratory experience required

•Medical device industry experience required

•Experience working with data sheets documentation and test records

•Ability to work safely in a biohazard environment

•Ability to follow written procedures and safety guidelines

Required Tech Skills

•Proficiency with Microsoft Excel required

•Experience using Minitab required

•Basic technical writing skills

•Ability to collect record and report data accurately

•Basic math and statistics knowledge

•Familiarity with laboratory testing equipment and manufacturing equipment

•Knowledge of standard laboratory practices



Required Soft Skills

•Strong attention to detail

•Good written and verbal communication skills

•Ability to work in a team environment

•Strong organizational skills

•Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

•Task oriented mindset

•Ability to work under supervision



Preferred Experience

•Experience generating test protocols and reports preferred

•Experience supporting manufacturing or quality control teams preferred

•Experience in regulated medical device environments preferred

•Knowledge of ISO and FDA-regulated environments preferred

•Experience supporting testing, manufacturing, or engineering activities preferred



Responsibilities

•Assist with engineering testing and laboratory activities

•Support the generation of formal test protocols and reports

•Execute test procedures and document results accurately

•Set up and operate testing equipment with supervision

•Maintain accurate records and organize test data into reportable formats

•Provide process and test method support to manufacturing and quality teams

•Track development builds through documentation and manufacturing processes

•Follow safety policies procedures and regulatory requirements

•Work safely in laboratory and biohazard environments
