• Advanced Microsoft Excel: Must have demonstrable expertise in advanced formulas, data analysis, and data validation. (Note: An Excel skills test is part of the interview process).
• Microsoft Outlook: Proficiency required for daily communication and task management.
• Data Entry/Portal Management: Ability to submit required documentation through state and customer web portals.
• Payroll Systems: Experience handling sensitive payroll data and processing internal Excel reports.
Soft / Professional Skills:
• Exceptional Attention to Detail: Ability to consistently follow complex, multi-step processes with absolute accuracy.
• Strong Mathematical Aptitude: Confident in interpreting and working with numerical data.

Job Responsibilities (Day-to-Day Duties)
• Payroll & Wage Compliance: Process Prevailing Wage and Certified Payroll data to ensure technicians are compensated accurately and on time.
• Regulatory Adherence: Uphold Cummins’ compliance with all federal, state, and customer-specific prevailing wage requirements.
• Report Management: Manage the daily processing of internal Excel reports related to payroll and project data.
• Document Submission: Submit required compliance documentation through various state and customer portals.
• Data Security: Handle sensitive payroll information with strict confidentiality.
• Process Improvement: Provide critical support to the team while they evaluate strategic process enhancements and system improvements.
• Workload Support: Provide cross-support between the Prevailing Wage and Certified Payroll functions based on daily workload demands.
