Job Description
Required Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in operations, Engineering, Supply Chain or a relevant field.

Required Experience:
• Extensive experience in Lean Manufacturing Tools (5S, Value Stream Mapping, SMED, Visual Management, Kaizen, etc.) is required.
• 4+ years of experience with any type of Production Systems (ex: Toyota Production System or any other similar systems).
• Extensive experience with Agile Methodologies/Project Management.
• Ability to set overall priorities and form action plans to implement & monitor for results.
• Experience with cost-saving projects for a manufacturing plant.
• Experience in industrial mechanical and/or electrical assembly.
• Experience with change management principles and demonstrated ability to drive and manage the change process.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint & Excel) is a requirement.

Job Responsibilities:
• Lead the continuous Improvement strategy: The person is in charge of the continuous improvement of the whole process, both in Front-end & Core, i.e. from tendering to delivery.
• Animate continuous improvement on operational processes in the plant based on Client Performance.
• Challenge, follow Kaizen events, and in some cases lead some of them.
• Smart factories: Lead the deployment of the smart factory solutions in the plant; the point of contact for the IPM and global smart factory leader.
• Productivity: Define a yearly action plan to build productivity.
• Follow the productivity action plan and ensure achievement of the Direct Labor Productivity target.
• Report the Direct Labor Productivity to support functions by using standard tools and processes.
• Ensure the transversal animation to get sustainability of Client Production System (SPS) level in the plant (including implementation of action plans driven by SPS assessment).
• Ensure the growing skills at all levels in the factory on the principles of manufacturing excellence.
• Manage the plant Value Stream Mapping (current & future state) and lead the continuous improvement of Product Lead Time by animating a transversal action plan at plant level.
• Ensure the implementation of the concept of green/red, principles of SPS, architecture lines, Short Interval Management, Material Providing & Handling.
