• Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives at an enterprise level

The Research Engineer will lead efforts within Product Compliance – Substance Compliance team to ensure compliance with developing sustainability and packaging waste regulations. This role requires strong leadership, regulatory interpretation skills, and the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable enterprise strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Research and interpret Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) and packaging waste regulations
• Assess regulatory impact to products in partnership with Legal
• Develop, document, and align compliance strategies with stakeholders
• Lead execution of compliance plans across the enterprise
• Collect, analyze, and validate compliance data
• Prepare and submit regulatory reports to authorities
• Monitor new regulatory developments globally
• Collaborate with internal teams and external industry associations
• Provide technical guidance and leadership to cross-functional partners
