Job Description
Required Education
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering, or a related technical field
• Relevant technical education or equivalent experience considered

Preferred Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline.

Required Qualifications / Skills / Experience
• Strong technical and hands-on mechanical aptitude
• Laboratory skills and ability to support equipment testing
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
• Understanding of technology solutions and equipment offerings
• Self-starter with the ability to manage tasks independently.

Preferred Qualifications / Skills / Experience
• Experience with SolidWorks (preferred)
• Exposure to manufacturing environments and processes
• Experience with statistical analysis and basic project management
• Familiarity with manufacturing process design and improvement.

Equipment Engineer Overview
• Supports equipment product development and project management initiatives
• Provides hands-on technical support to Product Development Engineers and Specialists
• Participates in the design, development, and testing of new equipment and chemical technologies
• Contributes to both technical documentation and customer-facing instructional materials
• Plays a key role in integrating digital technologies to enhance equipment process solutions and user experience.

Job Duties
• Support equipment product development and related project management activities
• Collaborate with Product Development Engineers and Specialists on:
• Design, development, and testing of new equipment and chemical technologies
• Creation and management of technical drawing packages
• Scoping, evaluation, and integration of digital technologies and services
• Assist in incorporating digital tools into equipment process solutions to improve user experience
• Create customer-focused instructional videos
• Update and maintain core marketing content to support new product launches
• Provide technical documentation and project support as required.

Specific Details to Call Attention To
• Hands-on mechanical aptitude is critical
• SolidWorks experience is strongly preferred
