Job Description
*Travel: Possible travel to China but after first 3 months
Degrees/Certifications Required:
• BS Mechanical engineer or Electrical Engineer with experience in Audio/Acoustics preferred
Must-Have Skills:
• Acoustic testing skills including use of Soundcheck
• Audio System Design experience including microphones and speakers
• Prototyping audio system
Nice-to-have Skills:
• Audio integrated circuit design (including speaker amplifiers, digital microphones, DSP), testing, and debugging experience.
• Audio Circuit experience implementation and debugging, Audio Precision, Oscilloscope, Soldering
• Audio Software debugging experience including ADB knowledge
• Audio DSP programming and implementation
Experience Required:
• Audio System Design and Implementation, 2-4 years experience
Overview:
Individuals will be working on architecting and designing audio systems pertaining to wearables devices in the Client product lines. The individual will be required to consider testing and manufacturability of the design and work with JDM (Joint Development Manufacturer) in coordinating the design, validation, testing and manufacturing of the product. An understanding of speaker and microphone design in a system as well as basic understanding and experience for debugging the testing and manufacturing of the system will be needed.
Key Projects/Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
• Architecting and designing audio systems pertaining to wearables devices in the Client product lines.
• Considering testing and manufacturability of the design.
• Working with JDM (Joint Development Manufacturer) in coordinating the design, validation, testing and manufacturing of the product.
• Applying an understanding of speaker and microphone design in a system.
• Possessing basic understanding and experience for debugging the testing and manufacturing of the system. - **Only those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered.**
