Required Education
• Bachelor’s degree (BS) in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.
Preferred Certification
• NACE CP1 Certification.
Required Experience
• Experience with pipeline and equipment corrosion.
• Experience with pipeline integrity procedures and systems.
• Experience evaluating corrosion, dents, and crack features.
• Experience with pipeline integrity assessment data and related engineering decisions.
Preferred Experience
• Experience performing Fitness-for-Service (FFS) evaluations using tools or methodologies such as API 579, CorLAS, RSTRENG, or MAT-8.
• Experience with ILI (In-Line Inspection) and Direct Assessment (DA).
• Experience with Nondestructive Evaluation (NDE) methods and practices.
• Experience with pipeline repair, pigging operations, and pipeline service coordination.
• Experience with cathodic protection systems and programs.
• Experience conducting or coordinating material investigations.
Required Skills
• Pipeline corrosion knowledge.
• Pipeline integrity knowledge.
• Ability to analyze assessment data and support engineering decisions.
• Detail-oriented approach to engineering work.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to maintain accurate documentation and records.

• Familiarity with corrosion mitigation strategies.
Key Responsibilities
• Monitor pipeline and equipment corrosion and maintain corrosion mitigation policies.
• Develop, implement, and update corrosion strategies.
• Maintain pipeline integrity through cathodic protection programs.
• Support maintenance and repair of cathodic protection systems.
• Coordinate pigging operations, pipeline services, and in-line inspections.
• Perform or support Fitness-for-Service evaluations for corrosion, dents, and crack features.
• Evaluate ILI, DA, and NDE assessment results and make recommendations based on findings.
• Coordinate material investigations as needed.
• Ensure pipeline integrity documentation and records are properly maintained.
