Required Education
* High School Diploma or Equivalent
Required Experience
* Two to four years of relevant equipment maintenance experience depending on education
* Experience as an electrical or electronics technician
* Experience as an electromechanical or mechanical engineering technician
* Experience as an industrial programmer electrician machine builder repairer machinist refrigeration mechanic or welding repairer
* Experience troubleshooting and repairing complex equipment and machinery
* Experience performing preventive maintenance and routine equipment maintenance
* Experience working with automated manufacturing equipment
* Experience working with mechanical pneumatic and electrical systems
* Preferred experience with industrial control systems instrumentation ladder logic relay logic variable frequency drives and servo systems
* Preferred experience with programmable logic controllers robotics and vision systems
* Preferred experience with mechanical design software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks
* Preferred experience with computerized maintenance management systems such as SAP
* Preferred experience using mills lathes welding equipment and bearing presses
Tech Skills
* Mechanical pneumatic and electrical troubleshooting and repair
* Ability to read electrical and pneumatic schematics
* Ability to read and interpret technical manuals blueprints diagrams and equipment specifications
* Knowledge of trades mathematics calibration techniques and precision measuring instruments
* Proficiency using personal computers including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
* Mechanical aptitude
* Electrical aptitude
* Hydraulics and pneumatics aptitude
* Ability to use a multimeter
* Knowledge of sensor technology
* Basic plumbing including fluid and pneumatic systems

Responsibilities
* Report directly to the Production Supervisor
* Perform routine setup operation minor and major maintenance preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of automated manufacturing equipment
* Control and adjust machine settings for AutoPak equipment
* Perform mechanical pneumatic and electrical maintenance repairs adjustments inspections and monitoring of production and facilities equipment
* Support production quality downtime and waste objectives related to machine operation
* Operate multiple production lines including setup and changeovers
* Provide operator support across assigned business operations as needed
* Perform routine assembly line production functions including filling packing assembling labeling and inspecting
* Perform cleanup functions in sterilized areas as required
* Analyze and evaluate charts and follow diagrams testing and inspection procedures
* Conduct root cause analysis activities for process or product exceptions
* Monitor quality according to statistical process or other control procedures
* Maintain accurate quality safety and maintenance documentation
* Identify troubleshoot and resolve complex machine performance and product quality issues
* Work with external contractors and vendors as needed
* Follow established procedures according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
* Follow all client housekeeping policies and procedures
* Follow all client safety policies and procedures
* Work overtime as required to meet client business requirements
* Perform other duties as assigned
