• Ability to identify and separate confidential, legal hold, and sensitive materials.

• Ability to identify and remove duplicates.

• Ability to accurately separate records by proceeding number.

• Ability to follow established records management policies and procedures.



Role Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Records Specialist to support the sorting, organization, disposition, and relocation of high volumes of hard-copy records. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of urgency and excellent attention to detail. This role requires the ability to safely handle physical files and boxes, including lifting. The position also involves handling confidential, sensitive, and legal hold materials according to established procedures.



Duties

• Sort and organize high volumes of hard-copy records.

• Separate records by proceeding number.

• Identify and remove duplicate records.

• Log disposed records in the official disposal log.

• Dispose of records in approved bins according to policy.

• Box and label records for relocation.

• Identify and separate confidential, legal hold, and sensitive materials.

• Perform physical handling and lifting of files and boxes as required.
