Job Description
Required Education:

• Bachelor's Degree



Required Experience, Knowledge & Abilities:

• Must have held the title “Copywriter” within the last 3 years

• Must live within one hour of the Pacific Time Zone and work those hours full-time (not just willing to accommodate the schedule)

• Must have direct health care or health insurance (payer/provider organizations) writing experience

• Demonstrate a working understanding of how health insurance works

• Be familiar with the employer/broker ecosystem (benefits consultants, employer groups, plan selection, etc.)



Recent experience writing materials for business audiences such as:

• Executive presentations/strategy decks

• Employer guides or sales materials

• Broker communications or benefit consultant materials



Recent experience writing consumer-facing marketing content such as:

• Website and landing page copy

• Email marketing campaigns

• SMS/text campaigns

• Member-facing communications



Examples of IDEAL relevant work history:

• Copywriting at: Kaiser Permanente, UnitedHealthcare, Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield plans, Cigna, Humana, Anthem/Elevance Health, Centene, Molina Healthcare, CVS Health, Optum, or similar payer or provider organizations
