Day-to-Day Responsibilities of this Position and Description of Project:
Take the lead to migrate and integrate the Client’s cloud networking systems into a larger technology ecosystem.
• Interface with leadership, infrastructure, and security teams to understand challenges and proactively seek out solutions that work effectively for our internal teams.
• Ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, quality standards, and architectural guidelines, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
• Act as a key point of contact for stakeholders, providing updates on project status, addressing concerns, and managing expectations.
What you will bring:
• Experience architecting, building, using, and supporting complex multi-site VPN solutions (Open VPN, GlobalProtect).
• A deep understanding of WAFs and cloud network security. Agile methodology including using tools/practices such as Jira, roadmapping, managing sprints and backlogs, and tracking resource usage.
• Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical DevOps experience with at least 5+ years working with AWS.
• A strong history of designing solutions using AWS services with a focus on security and access controls.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• A passion for building systems that truly meet the needs of multiple types of technical and non-technical users.
