Required Education
• Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, Soft Goods Design, Textile Design, or related field
Required Qualifications
• 3+ years of professional experience in Soft Goods, Fashion, Apparel, or Product Design
• Formal patternmaking training, including undergraduate coursework in patternmaking
• Strong sewing and prototype development skills
• Ability to operate industrial sewing machines and construct prototypes/samples
• Ability to sketch, visualize, and communicate design concepts effectively
• Experience with flat pattern development and draping techniques
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong design visualization and presentation skills
• Understanding of materials, fabrics, fillers, and construction techniques
• Ability to develop production-ready design concepts
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in team environments
• Ability to present ideas and concepts in English
• Ability to travel at least once per quarter

Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and technically skilled Soft Goods Designer to conceptualize and develop innovative products that enhance customer experiences. This position is responsible for supporting all aspects of soft goods design, from concept development and pattern creation through prototyping, product refinement, and manufacturing support.
Working from our Exton, PA facility, the Soft Goods Designer will partner closely with Design, Marketing, R&D, and Supply Chain teams while collaborating with global stakeholders across EMEA, LATAM, and APAC regions. The ideal candidate combines strong patternmaking expertise, hands-on sewing proficiency, and creative design capabilities to bring compelling products from concept to commercialization.

Job Duties
Product Design & Innovation
• Create and develop innovative soft goods products from concept through production
• Support enhancements and updates to existing products
• Generate concepts, sketches, renderings, and presentations
• Ensure products align with brand architecture and design standards
Pattern Development & Construction
• Develop patterns using flat pattern and draping techniques
• Create prototypes and samples with high accuracy
• Utilize industrial sewing equipment to construct and test designs
• Evaluate construction methods and material selections
Materials & Manufacturing
• Select fabrics, fillers, trims, and construction methods appropriate for product requirements
• Develop production-ready concepts and technical solutions
• Support manufacturing feasibility reviews and production implementation
• Apply Design for Manufacture principles throughout development
