• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, with demonstrable experience as a Full-Stack Developer transitioning into a Forward Deployed Engineer-style, customer-facing delivery role.

Job Overview:
Seeking a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer with deep Java and Python expertise to work directly with Fintech clients in the Spread Products space. This is a hybrid engineering and customer-facing role focused on architecting, building, deploying, and hardening production-grade solutions in close collaboration with client trading, risk, and operations teams.
The role requires an experienced Full-Stack or Backend Architect who can translate complex and ambiguous business requirements into working software, make effective tradeoffs between scope, speed, and quality, and serve as the technical face of the engineering organization with customers. Java and Python should be applied according to the needs of each use case, including enterprise applications, data analytics, pricing and risk calculations, automation, and rapid prototyping.
Success requires ownership of the complete technical delivery lifecycle, from discovery and scoping through production readiness, while ensuring solutions are scalable, resilient, secure, auditable, and compliant. The engineer will also establish feedback loops with stakeholders, understand business outcomes and ROI/AI impact, and demonstrate that delivered systems can operate reliably in production without unexpected behavior.
