Job Description
Required Education
• High School Diploma or GED required

Preferred Education
• Associate’s Degree or coursework in Business Administration, Music Business, Communications, or a related field

Required Experience
• 1+ year of data entry, administrative support, or database management experience
• Experience working with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Experience handling large volumes of data with a high level of accuracy

Preferred Experience
• Experience in the music, entertainment, publishing, media, or copyright industry
• Experience processing, reviewing, or maintaining records and documentation
• Exposure to film, television, cue sheets, music publishing, or copyright data

Required Skills
• Strong data entry and data management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Knowledge of music publishing, copyrights, cue sheets, or royalty administration
• Experience working with databases and record management systems
• Ability to identify and resolve data discrepancies proactively

Key Responsibilities
• Enter copyright and music publishing information accurately into company databases
• Process, standardize, and report cue sheets for film and television productions
• Review and validate work data to ensure completeness and accuracy
• Research and identify music publishing ownership and controlled compositions
• Collect, organize, and maintain information received from cue sheets and related documents
• Identify Universal Music Publishing-controlled songs and enter appropriate information into internal systems
• Collaborate closely with coordinators, team leads, and other team members to process work efficiently
• Identify data issues, discrepancies, and exceptions and escalate them to management when necessary
• Maintain data integrity while meeting productivity and quality standards
• Support ongoing departmental projects and perform other administrative duties as assigned
• Participate in training and continuously learn music publishing, copyright, and cue sheet processing procedures
• Work in a hybrid environment while adhering to established workflows and deadlines
