Job Description

Required Skills, Experience, and Knowledge:

• Previous experience in mail processing, data entry, records, document processing, or administrative support preferred

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Comfortable performing repetitive data entry and document-processing tasks

• Ability to follow detailed procedures and search guidelines

• Basic computer and database skills

• Ability to organize work, manage daily processing volumes, and meet established deadlines



Mail Processing & Data Entry Clerk Job Responsibilities:

• Open, sort, and process incoming mail and correspondence

• Distribute processed mail to the appropriate office units and maintain accurate routing

• Check in opened mail three times each business day to ensure timely processing

• Maintain daily counts of incoming mail and accurately track processing volumes

• Place processed documents into the appropriate distribution bins for routing

• Assist staff with document retrieval and records-related requests

• Search the corporate database using established search guidelines to locate exact or similar customer and service-company records

• Print records identified through database searches for further processing

• Enter information from various documents into the Cenuity system

• Review documentation for completeness, accuracy, and acceptability before entering or processing information

• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient mail processing area

• Follow established procedures for document handling, data entry, record searches, and quality control
