Minimum Requirements:
• 8+ years experience developing ETL mappings and workflows using Informatica Power Center/IICS.
• 8+ years experience acquiring and integrating data from multiple sources (Oracle, SQL Server, Excel, Access, Adobe PDF) for Tableau visualization.
• 8+ years experience designing and developing complex Oracle/Snowflake SQL scripts.
• 8+ years experience as a Systems Analyst on data analytics, performance management, or data warehousing projects.
• 8+ years experience with technical writing, diagramming, and proficiency in tools like Visio, Erwin, and MS Office Suite.
• 8+ years experience planning and delivering software platforms across multiple organizational units.
• Proven ability to write efficient, testable code using best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:
• 6+ years excellent oral and written communication skills.
• 6+ years ability to manage multiple priorities and switch between tasks effectively.
• 4+ years experience on an agile sprint team.
• 4+ years understanding of security principles for healthcare data.
• 4+ years experience with BI or performance metrics visualization tools.
• 4+ years Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 4+ years prior experience in Healthcare Industry, HHS agency, or working with PII/PHI data.
• 4+ years experience developing scripts using Python.
• 4+ years experience with JIRA.
• 2+ years experience with Web Services (REST, SOAP).
• 2+ years experience coding in Java, JavaScript, and C#.
• 2+ years experience developing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and Git Actions.
• 2+ years experience as a Mulesoft developer.

Summary:
• We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to support developing and enhancing the HHS Data Integration Hub.
• This role involves designing, developing, and implementing data integration solutions using agile methodologies, ensuring compliance with performance metrics, and supporting operations for data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities:
• Serve as a technical leader within an agile development team.
• Acquire and integrate data from multiple sources for diverse use cases.
• Design and develop complex SQL scripts for Oracle and/or Snowflake.
• Automate ETL processes using Informatica Power Center/IICS.
• Collaborate on data design and architecture with the Data Engineering Team.
• Validate and verify SQL scripts, Informatica workflows, and database views.
• Develop automated verification and validation processes.
• Participate in all agile sprint ceremonies and contribute to Epics/User Stories.
• Work closely with architects and stakeholders to implement designs and strategies.
• Create mockups and validate with customers.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation, diagrams, and specifications.
• Assist with configuration of development tools and environments.
• Interpret evolving business requirements and propose enhancements.
• Perform integration, load, and stress testing; support deployment activities.
• Other duties as assigned.
