Job Description
Required Education

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience



Required Qualifications/Skills/Experience

• Strong SQL skills

• Python programming skills

• 1–2 years of relevant experience

• Experience in programming/debugging for business applications

• Working knowledge of programming languages

• Understanding of industry practices and standards

• Strong written and verbal communication skills



Preferred Qualifications/Skills/Experience

• Experience working with large datasets

• Exposure to data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.) (nice to have)

• Knowledge of AI/ML techniques (predictive modeling, NLP, etc.)

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Experience in the financial services industry (preferred)



Overview

The Data Engineer position focuses on system analysis, programming, and collaboration with technology teams to improve business processes and applications. The role involves designing and maintaining Oracle PL/SQL queries and ETL processes, using Python scripting for data analysis, automation, and reporting, and performing deep data analysis to identify trends and insights. The position works closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions while maintaining data quality standards and data integrity. Candidates are also expected to stay current on data tools, techniques, and AI/ML advancements.



Job Duties
