Job Description

This is primarily a remote position; the candidate must be available to work onsite in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, if requested by the client.

Required Skills:
• Data Management Systems (10+ Years)
• Workflow and process automation (10+ Years)
• Security best practices, including auditing (10+ Years)
• Application architecture and design (10+ Years)
• Technical Leadership (10+ Years)

Preferred Skills:
• Prior experience developing state applications or working within regulated public-sector environments

Job Duties:
• Develop the overall application architecture, including the design and implementation of new systems and the evolution of existing systems
• Provide technical leadership to development teams, including guidance on design and development best practices
• Ensure alignment of application systems with the client’s overall technology strategy and business goals
• Collaborate with the client’s stakeholders, project managers, and other IT teams to define and prioritize application requirements
• Research and evaluate new technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement
• Mentor and train development teams on new technologies and best practices
