Job Description
Required Skills:
• Knowledge of Google Analytics (2-3 years experience)
• Ability to create custom analytics reports (1-2 years experience)
• Knowledge of MS Office, specifically PowerPoint (2-3 years experience)
• Ability to create and lead dynamic trainings
Preferred Skills:
• Knowledge of and ability to create reports using Looker Studio (1-2 years experience)
• Understanding of HTML/UI/UX/Basic website design
• Understanding of Web Accessibility
Job Overview:
This role will work in collaboration with the Digital Experience Manager and departments’ lead digital content authors to implement analytics reports, develop and deliver training on proper usage of analytics tools, and assist in making content design recommendations based on the analytics reports.
Job Responsibilities:
• Develop clear, insightful, and actionable reports and dashboards tailored to departmental needs. Translate complex data into an accessible language for non-technical users.
• Develop workshops, conduct training sessions, and provide one-on-one support for County departments on how to use Google Analytics and understand key metrics.
• Monitor, interpret, and report on website traffic and user behavior using Google Analytics and related tools.
• Provide recommendations based on data analysis to improve user experience, content strategy, and digital outreach efforts.
• Ensure Google Analytics implementations are correct and consistent. Stay up to date on changes to GA4, tagging structures, and analytics best practices.
• Works well in a team environment
• Strong interpersonal capabilities and ability to work cross-functionally with roles on different teams
