Required

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related quantitative field.

• 3-6 years of experience in data/business analysis, with demonstrated progression in ownership and technical complexity.

• Expert-level SQL proficiency: comfortable writing complex queries with multiple joins, window functions, CTEs, and optimizing for performance.

• Strong Tableau skills: proven ability to design, build, and maintain production dashboards with proper data modeling.

• Advanced Excel capabilities: pivot tables, complex formulas, data manipulation.

• Python proficiency for data analysis, automation, and scripting.

• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills: ability to frame ambiguous business questions, identify relevant metrics, and design analyses independently.

• Excellent communication and storytelling skills: ability to synthesize sophisticated information from multiple sources, craft clear narratives, and translate findings into implementable recommendations for non-technical audiences.

• High ownership and execution: demonstrated ability to scope work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and deliver consistently in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.

• Strong attention to detail with a sense of responsibility for flawless execution and data quality.

• Cross-functional collaboration skills: proven ability to build partnerships across analytics, product, engineering, and business teams.



Preferred

• Master's degree in Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, or related field.

• Experience with A/B testing / experimentation design and analysis.

• Domain experience in e-commerce, product analytics, marketing analytics, or customer analytics.

• Familiarity with data engineering concepts and ability to partner effectively with data engineers on pipeline and data quality issues.





Key Responsibilities

• Own and maintain key business insights dashboards, acting as the primary liaison between end users and analytics/data engineering teams; proactively identify opportunities to improve dashboard design and data quality.

• Lead and coordinate analytics projects end-to-end, serving as the point of contact between analytics and the business unit while independently prioritizing projects, clarifying ambiguous asks, estimating timelines, and ensuring delivery.

• Perform complex ad-hoc data analyses using SQL, including customer segmentation, cohort analysis, funnel diagnostics, and root cause analysis to understand business performance; synthesize findings into clear, structured recommendations.

• Develop, modify, and maintain dashboards (primarily in Tableau) to improve team visibility into KPIs, funnels, and business health metrics; ensure dashboards are scalable and maintainable.

• Communicate insights effectively to diverse audiences, from technical peers to senior leadership; craft compelling data narratives that start with the takeaway and support with evidence.
