Job Description
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Agronomic & Product Expertise: Minimum 5 years of experience with a good understanding of crop systems, product information, and technical documentation in agriculture.
AI & Innovation Mindset: Proficient with GenAI tools, data ingestion workflows, and the practical application of data for model enhancement.
• Data Management & Automation: Expertise in organizing technical information, ensuring data quality, and developing automated processes for data handling.
• Training & Communication: Proven track record of leading training and engagement sessions for diverse stakeholders;
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Ability to collaborate effectively across IT, legal, commercial, and technical teams, providing clear governance and direction in complex environments.
The Data Management Specialist will be pivotal in the successful adoption and performance of the E.L.Y. GenAI model, which focuses on agronomic and product information.
This role emphasizes comprehensive data preparation, ingestion, management, and automation, while supporting quality assurance and system validation.
The specialist will collaborate with internal teams to enhance the model’s data foundation, promote internal adoption, and foster understanding and trust in AI applications within agriculture and product information sectors.
Data Preparation & Ingestion:
• Collaborate with internal teams to identify, format, and ingest relevant agronomic and product content in line with Client standards.
• Facilitate the expansion of the data foundation by integrating new and pertinent datasets into the system.
Data Management & Automation:
• Oversee the organization and maintenance of data, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with legal standards.
• Implement automation processes to streamline data handling and improve efficiency.
Quality Assurance & Validation:
• Lead data quality control initiatives, including the creation of Q&A pairs for system validation and benchmarking.
• Design and conduct test cycles to evaluate model behavior and drive continuous improvement.
Training & Stakeholder Engagement:
• Facilitate onboarding and training sessions for internal teams and stakeholders to ensure effective use of the E.L.Y.
• Partner with cross-functional teams (IT, Legal, Sales, Marketing, etc.) to promote responsible adoption and alignment with business objectives.
Innovation & Collaboration:
• Support the development of local innovation initiatives by assisting teams in leveraging the E.L.Y. capabilities for tailored use cases.
• Ensure global consistency and shared learnings across regions.
