Job Description
Required Education

•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).



Preferred Education

•Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.



Required Qualifications/Skills/Experience

•5–8 years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, process improvement, and project management.

•Strong expertise in writing complex SQL queries, including analytical and aggregate functions on views.

•Hands-on experience managing data assets, identifying critical data elements, data mapping, data modeling, and data aggregation.

•Experience with Data Engineering concepts, including proficiency in at least one of the following: ETL ingestion, data visualization, data storage, querying, data processing, analysis, or data quality governance.

•Experience with Data Modeling, ETL technologies, and data pipelines.

•Technical expertise across all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

•Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases.

•Experience with PySpark scripting.

•Ability to use advanced analytical and interpretive techniques to map data and create data visualizations.

•Strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.



Preferred Qualifications/Skills/Experience

•Experience with Tableau, Airflow, Git, JIRA, and Confluence.

•AI and Machine Learning experience.

•Experience with Manual, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Functional Testing, and Regression Testing.



Overview

We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst with 5-8 years of experience in data analysis, SQL, data engineering, and data management. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in complex SQL development, data engineering concepts, ETL processes, data modeling, data pipelines, and data visualization. The role requires experience working with relational and NoSQL databases, SDLC methodologies, and data quality and governance practices. Candidates with experience using PySpark, Tableau, Airflow, Git, JIRA, and Confluence are highly preferred. Exposure to AI/Machine Learning and software testing methodologies, including UAT, Functional, and Regression Testing, is considered an advantage. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills while contributing to data-driven initiatives and business process improvements.



Job Duties

•Analyze business and data requirements to support enterprise data initiatives.

•Write and optimize complex SQL queries using analytical and aggregate functions.

•Manage data assets and identify critical data elements.

•Perform data mapping, data modeling, and data aggregation activities.

•Design, develop, and support ETL processes and data pipelines.

•Apply Data Engineering concepts, including data ingestion, storage, querying, processing, analysis, visualization, and data quality governance.

•Work with relational and NoSQL databases.

•Develop PySpark scripts to support data processing requirements.

•Create meaningful data visualizations to support business insights.

•Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

•Utilize Tableau, Airflow, Git, JIRA, and Confluence as applicable.

•Support AI and Machine Learning initiatives where applicable.

•Perform Manual, UAT, Functional, and Regression Testing as needed.

•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve business processes and data quality.

•Communicate findings, recommendations, and technical information effectively to stakeholders.
