Job Description
Required Education:
• Bachelor’s degree

Preferred Education:
• Master’s degree preferred.

Required Qualifications/Skills/Experience:
• 10+ years of experience in data analysis or a related field.
• Strong expertise in SQL, including complex queries, joins, and stored procedures.
• Extensive experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Proficiency in query tools and/or statistical software (e.g., SQL tools, SAS, R, Python, SPSS, etc.).
• Experience with reporting and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Cognos, Business Objects, or similar).
• Strong understanding of data validation, data quality, and data governance practices.

Analytical & Professional Skills
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to validate complex datasets.
• Exceptional organizational and documentation skills.
• Ability to communicate complex data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform comprehensive data collection, analysis, validation, and reporting to support business decision-making.
• Design, develop, test, and document SQL queries, stored procedures, and data processes.
• Extract, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources, including relational databases, flat/manual files, and external websites.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity through validation and quality checks.
• Respond to data requests and inquiries from various business units and stakeholders.
• Create, publish, and maintain regularly scheduled and ad hoc reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into reporting and analytical solutions.
• Document reporting requirements, data definitions, and technical processes clearly and thoroughly.
• Identify trends, patterns, and insights from large datasets and present findings in a clear, actionable manner.
• Support continuous improvement of reporting systems and data processes.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working with large, complex datasets.
• Familiarity with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience in cross-functional or enterprise-level reporting environments.
