Required Skills

1. Bilingual (Mandatory): Fluent in Spanish and English – both written and verbal.

2. Technical Proficiency: Experience with Microsoft Excel.

3. Order Management Experience: Minimum of 1+ year of experience in order management, customer support, or supply chain coordination.

4. Customer Service: Strong customer support skills with the ability to handle complex inquiries and escalations.

5. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with customers and cross-functional teams.

6. Problem-Solving: Ability to research, resolve, and document complex customer issues.

7. Attention to Detail: Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions.

8. Compliance Knowledge: Understanding of export policies and shipping documentation requirements.

9. Quality Management: Familiarity with Quality Management Systems and submitting non-conformance claims.

10. Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize tasks effectively.



Act as the single-point-of-contact for assigned customer accounts, managing the entire order life cycle to ensure orders are processed and shipped on time. This is not a call center position – it focuses on proactive customer support, supply chain coordination, and account management.



Key Responsibilities:

• Manage assigned customer accounts for the full order life cycle (new customer set-up, order entry/modification, escalation, and logistics management).

• Act as the primary liaison between customers, parts distribution centers, manufacturing plants, and internal departments.

• Provide accurate documentation and continuous communication to customers throughout the order process.

• Take ownership of and resolve complex customer inquiries through extensive research and knowledge of Cummins processes and systems.

• Provide timely responses per Service Level Agreement (SLA) and escalate issues when necessary with full documentation.

• Maintain accurate records of all internal and external interactions in appropriate databases/systems.

• Ensure customers comply with export policies and compile required export/shipping documentation per legislation.

• Liaise between customers and aftermarket/manufacturing locations for quality issues; submit Material Non-Conformance or Process Non-Conformance claims via the Quality Management System.

• Support supervisors with hosting customer visits at local facilities.

• Prepare and distribute standard and customized internal and customer reports.

• Understand and adhere to Customer Order Management policies, procedures, and metrics.

• Support departmental goals and initiatives to promote a proactive customer support organization.

• Participate in or lead process improvement projects
