Job Description
Start Date: June 1, 2026
Training is 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM for 3-4 weeks. Training process is a combination of classroom, online, and on the job learning.
After Training Schedule: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Updates from HM:
• We would like someone with 2+ years experience within a call center role or someone who has experience with health insurance. Also someone with critical thinking skills, comfortable navigating multiple screen and apps, and someone committed to their role.
• Our team assists brokers and group administrators with customer service requests. This could vary from someone needing a copy of an employee’s health insurance card to a copy of a group’s invoice.
• Our team assists with inquiries pertaining to Eligibility, Billing, Reporting/Fees and also Claims & Benefits.
• This round of contractors will learn Eligibility, Billing and Reporting & Fees.


Required Skills and Competencies:
• Previous industry experience with group benefits
• Understanding of underwriting risk factors that influence health insurance profitability
• Advanced customer service skills-ability to handle a wide variety of callers in a professional manner and strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to process complex time sensitive information from multiple sources, make decisions based on data and to effectively communicate the related required actions to a broad audience
• High degree of initiative, mature judgment, and self-motivation
• Effective organization and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlines
• Team oriented ability to provide guidance on process, procedures, and product
• Comfortable with delivering and receiving feedback

Overview of Role / Primary Purpose:
• The Analyst Plan Administrator (Group Benefits) located in Milwaukee WI, handles client service concerns by maintaining and servicing inbound call activity and emails.
• Improve persistency and overall client satisfaction by serving as point of contact within sales offices, agencies, and employers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Researches, analyzes and resolves discrepancies including escalated customer requests such as claims, benefits, billing, eligibility, web access and other customer service needs that arise from agents, employer, account management, and sales organization. Handles escalated calls.
• Prepares and communicates reconciliation reports to employer groups or agents.
• Builds and maintains relationships with key employer groups, brokers and regional offices.
• Provides ongoing support and training for team members on policies and standards.
• Manages suspense account entries using established regulatory standards.
• Identifies and recommends opportunities for process improvement.
• Completes Customer Focus Interaction initiative using established procedures to meet goals.
• Documents and executes processes with minimal direction from leadership.
• Coordinates special projects for accurate resolution.
• Determines appropriate issues to escalate and assist management with resolution.
• May perform other responsibilities as assigned.
