• 3–5 years of customer service experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to accurately verify patient information and insurance coverage.
• Will work in a patient access building more than 50% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications / Skills / Experience:
• Experience using Epic.
• Previous healthcare, patient registration, or medical front office experience.

We are seeking a customer-focused Patient Access Representative to support a busy Urgent Care department. This onsite position is responsible for providing an exceptional patient experience while ensuring accurate patient registration, insurance verification, and demographic information. Job Summary:
The Patient Access Representative serves as the first point of contact for patients visiting the Urgent Care clinic. This role is responsible for patient registration, insurance verification, and maintaining accurate patient records while delivering excellent customer service.
Job Responsibilities:
• Register patients and complete the check-in process for Urgent Care visits.
• Verify insurance eligibility and update patient demographic information.
• Review and maintain accurate patient records.
• Provide outstanding customer service to patients and visitors.
• Utilize Microsoft Office and Outlook to support daily operations.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure efficient patient flow.
• Follow organizational policies regarding patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Perform other front office and patient access duties as assigned.
