Required Education:

• High School Diploma or GED

• Associate degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field



Required Qualifications / Skills / Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer service or call center environment

• Strong data entry skills with close attention to accuracy and detail

• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills

• Ability to read and interpret policies, procedures, and instructions

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills when interacting with team members

• Basic alphanumeric data entry skills with strong accuracy and quality focus

• Intermediate math skills with strong attention to detail

• Ability to prioritize fluctuating workloads and competing priorities



Preferred Qualifications / Skills / Experience:

• Experience in a healthcare setting or insurance industry

• Knowledge of basic insurance terminology and third-party billing concepts

• Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and other government programs

• Knowledge of medical terminology

• Experience verifying insurance coverage or processing patient information



Customer Service Representative / Data Entry Specialist Overview:

• This position supports internal prescription and patient record processing through administrative and data entry functions

• The role is responsible for organizing incoming correspondence, opening and sorting mail, entering receipts and documentation into internal systems, and maintaining accurate records in compliance with privacy and regulatory requirements

• Candidates must demonstrate strong data entry accuracy, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Experience working with healthcare documentation, insurance verification, or prescription processing is beneficial

• This role may also support administrative tasks related to verifying insurance coverage for new and existing patients to ensure prescription needs are processed successfully

• The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, the ability to interpret policies and procedures, and the ability to maintain organized documentation within internal systems

• This position operates in a team environment but also requires the ability to work independently while meeting productivity and quality expectations



Job Duties:

• Perform accurate data entry into internal systems

• Open and sort incoming mail and correspondence

• Organize documentation and maintain records

• Enter receipts and documentation into company systems

• Maintain accurate patient or account records as required

• Verify insurance coverage information when applicable

• Assist with the administrative processing of documentation and paperwork

• Maintain compliance with privacy and regulatory requirements

• Support internal teams with documentation and record-keeping tasks

• Prioritize and manage multiple administrative tasks efficiently
