Job Summary:



The Customer Service Representative / Inside Sales Representative serves as a primary point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service, product support, and sales assistance. This role is responsible for responding to customer inquiries, processing orders, sourcing products, generating quotes, and supporting inventory and shipment activities. The ideal candidate combines strong customer service skills with sales aptitude and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while ensuring customer satisfaction and business growth.



Key Responsibilities:



Customer Service & Sales Support

• Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries regarding products, pricing, availability, and services.

• Generate accurate customer quotes and process customer orders.

• Promote company products and proactively identify sales opportunities.

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through exceptional service and follow-up.

• Negotiate sales and purchase pricing when appropriate.



Order Management & Product Sourcing

• Source products from suppliers and internal inventory to fulfil customer requirements.

• Coordinate order processing activities to ensure timely and accurate delivery.

• Expedite backorders and communicate order status updates to customers.

• Work closely with suppliers and internal teams to resolve order-related issues.



Inventory & Shipping Support

• Assist with inventory-related activities, including pulling products and preparing shipments.

• Support shipping and fulfilment processes to ensure customer orders are completed accurately.

• Assist with customer returns and product exchanges as needed.

• Maintain accurate records of inventory and order transactions.



Customer Problem Resolution

• Troubleshoot customer concerns and identify effective solutions

• Resolve product, order, delivery, and service-related issues promptly

• Coordinate with internal departments and suppliers to address customer challenges

• Ensure customer satisfaction through proactive communication and follow-through



Administrative & Operational Support

• Maintain accurate customer and order information within company systems

• Utilize Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and other business systems to manage daily responsibilities

• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to customer service and sales operations

• Perform additional duties as assigned to support business objectives





Work Environment:

• Fast-paced customer service and sales environment

• Frequent interaction with customers, suppliers, and internal teams

• Requires the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and responsiveness
