Required Experience, Knowledge & Skills:
• Must have a background in Financial Services/Banking
• Strong and proven verbal and written customer service skills
• Ability to multitask with strong attention to detail
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office applications
• Can work multiple shifts (8am - 7pm window)
Preferred Experience, Knowledge & Skills:
• Familiarity with shareholder servicing systems and procedures
• Undergraduate degree or two to four years of equivalent work experience
Overview:
• Global Fund Services (GFS) offers fund administration, compliance, legal administration, fund accounting, fulfillment, distribution and marketing, custody, securities lending, transfer agent and shareholder services, and alternative investment product services
• We provide the products and services necessary for fund sponsors to focus on investing while we protect their business interests and minimize risks
• As Transfer Agent, we act as a liaison and provide service to over 200 mutual fund/alternative investment companies and their shareholders
• We have numerous opportunities for individuals with excellent multitasking abilities to provide a superior level of service to our growing group of high-profile clients and their shareholders
• Efficient and detail-oriented individuals will be able to showcase their talents and develop long-lasting relationships through excellent verbal and written communication
Job Responsibilities:
• Accept and process telephone transactions and maintenance requests from institutional-level shareholders
• Field shareholder inquiries regarding account setup, prior transactions, fund objectives, and performance
• Provide prompt notification of trade activity to internal and external clients as required
• Serve as a point of contact for internal and external clients
• Field inquiries and transaction requests from retail-level shareholders as required
• Participate in a culture of continuous improvement, risk-based thinking, and employee engagement driven by our ISO 9001 certification
Training Information:
• 5 days per week fully onsite during training (approximately 8 weeks)
• Training Hours: 8 am -4:30/5:00 pm (Two 15 min breaks, 30 min lunch)
• Position will convert to hybrid after training (3 days per week onsite) - **Only those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered.**
