Job Description
Required Education (Inferred from Role Type)
• Minimum: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Preferred (Typical for Level II): Associate’s degree in Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Required Skills
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to handle high-volume phone and fax interactions professionally.
• Order Processing: Experience with sales order entry, order fulfillment systems, and processing product/service requests.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to investigate and resolve routine and some non-routine customer issues (e.g., shipment problems, credits, product availability).
• Data Entry: Accurate typing and data entry skills with attention to detail.
• System Proficiency: Comfortable using order management software, CRM tools, and standard office applications (e.g., email, spreadsheets).
• Organization: Ability to manage multiple tasks including expediting orders, checking stock levels, and maintaining records.
• Customer Focus: Skill in handling complaints, answering product/service questions, and coordinating with internal teams (e.g., shipping, logistics).

Job Description
1. Responds to telephone, fax, and web product and service orders; obtains usage and inputs sales order data and/or product service calls into the order fulfillment system.
2. Resolves routine and some non-routine customer questions, complaints, and requests.
3. Investigates problems related to shipment of products, credits, and new orders.
4. Through the ordering process, obtains information on the amount, type, and stock on hand. May also expedite orders and initiate action to replenish stock.
5. May set up new accounts, maintain other records, and prepare required reports.
