Job Description
Job Summary
The Client Domestic Theatrical Manager is responsible for overseeing the theatrical collections and accounts receivable functions to ensure timely recovery of outstanding balances, optimize cash flow and maintain strong exhibitor relationships. Manager will work with sales, Accounting and IT teams to ensure collection goals. The Manager position is required to have prior A/R collection and supervisory experience.

Reporting Structure
Reports to VP, Theatrical A/R

Responsibilities
• Monitor aging reports, identify high-risk accounts and coordinate escalation procedures
• Collaborate with sales and legal teams and exhibitors to resolve late pay
• Ensure collection process is in compliant with SOX controls
• Support VP on internal and external audit requests
• Collaborate with sales team on ad hoc analysis requests
• Reconcile banking deposit transactions to sales and billing system (SMART) deposit records
• Ensure timely posting of cash deposits
• Prepare monthly cash collection summary
• Supervise 3 A/R analysts and 2 box office analysts
• Develop complete understanding of billing and cash functions in Sales and Billing system
• Work with IT on system enhancement
• Find opportunities to reduce manual work process and inefficiencies
• Work with IT to integrate AI learning tools into daily workflows
• Prepare weekly and monthly aging reports
• Submit quarterly bad debt reserve reports

Requirements – Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business or related field
• Knowledgeable with AI learnings tools and AI models, a plus
• 5+ years in collections or A/R with at least 2 years in leadership role
• Strong customer service
• Experience with sales billing and/or subledger systems
• General understanding of accounting principles
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advance)
• Experience with Oracle preferred
• Experience in Media Industry a plus
• Experience in a multi-location company
• Strong communication skills - oral, written, interpersonal
• Analytical and strong problem-solving skills
