Required Education:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent



Required Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

• Experience with grants, contracts, budgeting, or fiscal administration

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to review financial documents and identify discrepancies

• Experience tracking reports, invoices, and deadlines

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel



Preferred Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

• Experience with government or nonprofit grant programs

• Familiarity with grant management systems and compliance requirements

• Experience with contract administration or financial reporting



Grant & Contracts Specialist Job Responsibilities:

• Complete, process, and maintain contracts, agreements, MOUs, and required grant forms

• Update contract and grant documentation annually as needed

• Manage signatures and approvals through electronic systems such as Adobe Sign

• Review budgets, invoices, and fiscal documents for accuracy

• Track expenditures, funding balances, invoices, and reporting requirements.

• Monitor grant performance measures and audit requirements

• Enter and maintain grant information in the Grants Management System (GMS)

• Identify and resolve budget, invoice, and documentation discrepancies

• Cross-check budget narratives and budget justifications for accuracy

• Create amendments and maintain grant-related records

• Develop monthly tracking reports and dashboards for expenditures and performance

• Provide guidance and support to program staff on grant requirements and processes

• Collaborate with program and fiscal teams to ensure compliance and timely completion of grant activities
