Job Description
Only qualified Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) - Oracle EBS candidates located near Plano, TX will be considered due to the position requiring an on-site presence.
Required Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
Required Skills, Experience, & Abilities:
• 4-7 years of experience in database administration with EBS application and operations.
• Experience participating in or leading incident response and postmortem analysis processes.
• Previous exposure to hybrid environments integrating on-premises data centers with public or private cloud platforms is desirable.
• 4-7 years Oracle DBA experience with EBS application on installation, testing, commissioning, trouble shooting on production and development servers.
• Skilled in performance tuning, RMAN backup/recovery, Data Guard, and security.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot production issues and support mission-critical environments.
Role & Responsibilities:
• Administer and support Oracle E-Business Suite (R12.x) environments
• Perform installation, cloning, upgrades, and patching (ADOP, ADADMIN, CPU/PSU)
• Manage online patching and dual file systems (fs1 / fs2)
• Monitor and troubleshoot Concurrent Managers, Workflow, Forms, Reports, OAF
• Analyze and resolve applications, WebLogic, and JVM issues
• 4-7 years of Oracle DBA experience on installation, testing, commissioning, trouble shooting on production and development servers.
• The scope of this job is Oracle database administration, which is responsible for the installation, testing, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Oracle 9i, 10g, 11g,12c, and 19c technologies.
• Additionally, resources will assist with disaster recovery (DR) designing, planning, and implementation processes.
• Responsibility lies in configuring, managing, and reporting on all Oracle database Server environments, including standalone and clustered environments.
• Train and mentor new database administrators on the Oracle suite of products (11G, 12C, 18c, 19c) and troubleshooting techniques.
• Make recommendations to improve the performance or capacity of current environments.
• Expertise in Disaster Recovery, Backup, and recovery support.
• Good experience with Oracle database migration.
• Experience with Golden Gate is essential
• Good experience on backup and recovery using RMAN integrated with CommVault/NetApps.
• Shell Scripting and automation with any tool is required.
• Experience in PERL/Shell scripting will be an added advantage. - **Only those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered.**
