Required Qualifications / Skills / Experience

• Experience supporting lending products within a financial services environment

• Knowledge of Securities-Based Lending (SBL), margin lending, or credit products

• Experience reviewing loan documentation or lending applications

• Strong project coordination and operational support experience

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Strong attention to detail

• Experience tracking KPIs and reporting

• Cross-functional collaboration experience

• Ability to pass a FINRA fingerprint background check

Business Development Consultant – Securities-Based Lending Overview

• Supports the day-to-day execution of a Securities-Based Lending program within a financial services organization

• Partners with lending teams to manage lending opportunities from intake through operational support

• Assists advisors by providing lending process guidance, product information, and operational support

• Maintains lending pipeline reports, KPI dashboards, documentation, and business tracking

• Collaborates with cross-functional business partners to improve lending operations and drive business growth

• Creates advisor-facing documentation, process guides, FAQs, and training materials

• Supports continuous improvement initiatives through reporting, trend analysis, and operational feedback



Job Duties

• Support daily Securities-Based Lending operations

• Review and process lending opportunities

• Prepare loan estimates

• Track lending pipeline activities

• Monitor lending documentation

• Support advisor inquiries

• Coordinate with cross-functional business teams

• Maintain project trackers and operational reports

• Track KPIs and lending utilization metrics

• Analyze business trends and recommend improvements

• Prepare presentations and advisor materials

• Develop process documentation, FAQs, and toolkits

• Assist with new lending opportunity sourcing

• Support product implementation initiatives
