Job Description
***Only qualified Technical Designer (Women's Apparel) candidates located near Manhattan, NY to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence. ***



Education

•Bachelor’s degree (Bachelors) in Fashion or equivalent experience



Qualifications-

•3 to 5 years of experience in technical design

•Experience with plus size apparel

•Experience with intimates product category required

•Strong collaboration and communication skills

•Ability to work in a fast paced and evolving environment

•Problem solving mindset with attention to detail

•Supportive team player with composure under pressure

•Open to new ways of working and adaptable to change





Requirement

•Execute technical design process from development through final fit

•Analyze garments to develop accurate fit specifications

•Ensure products meet fit quality standards manufacturer capabilities and cost targets

•Develop technical specifications and communicate fit corrections to vendors and factories

•Partner with factories to maintain design integrity of approved prototypes while monitoring quality and price targets

•Collaborate closely with design and cross functional teams to ensure design intent and fit standards are met

•Support and guide Assistant or Associate Technical Designers as needed

•Participate in fit sessions and provide feedback and adjustments

•Maintain flexibility and problem solving approach in a fast paced environment

•Stay organized and prioritize effectively with changing requirements
