Job Description
***Only qualified Designer candidates located near Manhattan, New York to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence. ***

Our client is the world's largest intimates' specialty retailer offering a wide assortment of modern, fashion-inspired collections including signature bras, panties, lingerie, casual sleepwear, swim and athleisure, as well as award-winning prestige fragrances and body care.

Preferred Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Design or equivalent experience.

Required Skills, Experience & Knowledge:
- 2-3 years design experience
- CAD Illustration skills
- Techpack creation (technical knowledge / knowledge of sleep construction / lounge construction as well as fully fashioned knowledge)
- Centric knowledge & efficiency
- Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, etc)

Role:
Individual contributor position responsible for assisting in creating product designs and for achieving the style, appearance and fit characteristics of new products and improvements in existing products.

Responsibilities:
- Often is assigned tasks rather than full responsibility for product line.
- Does perform some level of original concept development.
- Assists in identifying key color, fabric, prints, patterns and materials.
- Shops retail stores for trend inspiration.
- Partners closely with Technical Design to ensure correct fit and/or function and look of prototypes.
- Typically reports to Designer. Typically no direct reports.
