Job Description
***Only qualified Warehouse Conveyor Mechanic candidates located near Covington, Georgia, are to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence. ***

Experience:
• High School diploma or equivalent

Required Skills, Experience, & Abilities:
• Must have experience managing conveyor systems, troubleshoot, and perform preventive maintenance
• Must have high school diploma or equivalent
• Technicians should have electrical, control and mechanical skills
• Hands-on experience with conveyor systems maintenance and troubleshooting
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and controls knowledge
• Experience performing preventive maintenance (PM) on equipment
• Ability to diagnose faults and repair automated systems
• Experience with facility maintenance (electrical, plumbing, HVAC basics)
• Ability to read and troubleshoot electrical systems (multiple voltages)
• 3–5 years real-world maintenance experience (not entry-level)

Desired Skills, Experience, & Abilities:
• Basic electrical knowledge of 12 volt, 24 volt AC/DC power
• Basic electrical knowledge of 120V/208V power
• Basic electrical knowledge of 277V/480V power
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
• Basic knowledge of Work Order process (SAP)

Responsibilities:
• Regular Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and resolve issues
• Performs prescribed preventative maintenance on machinery and the building or grounds, as required
• Performs general facility maintenance, repairs, and housekeeping on automated conveyors systems
• Uses judgment to plan, perform, troubleshoot, and problem solve in performance of all maintenance tasks
• Maintain MHE batteries, as required
• Maintenance Tasks: Perform general maintenance tasks including plumbing and electrical repairs
• Repairs: Conduct minor and major repairs on building structures and systems, including plumbing, electrical, controls, HVAC, and mechanical systems
• Preventive Maintenance: Perform preventive maintenance to avoid potential breakdowns and malfunctions
• Equipment Management: Install and set up new equipment, machinery, and maintain an inventory of repair equipment and supplies
• Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations
• Documentation: Document all installation, repair, and maintenance activities
