Position details:



• The Program Evaluation Consultant will support the planning and implementation of three program evaluations related to REACH, Service-Learning, and CASP. These evaluations are comprehensive reviews across the longitudinal curriculum, with particular attention to implementation, outcomes, and opportunities for quality improvement.

• The Program Evaluation Consultant’s responsibilities, with supervision, will be:

• Design evaluation procedures, including defining objectives, formulating clear questions, and managing timelines and deliverables

• Select and implement appropriate quantitative and qualitative research methods to meet the evaluation needs including sampling techniques

• Develop appropriate instruments including surveys, focus group/interview protocols, and observations tools

• Gather data from agreed upon groups including students, faculty, staff, and curricular leadership

• Analyze and synthesize quantitative and qualitative data

• Develop compelling and approachable data visuals to support interpretation, learning, and decision-making

• Compile findings, including actionable insights and recommendations, in agreed upon reporting formats

• Attend meetings, share regular status updates, and present material, as needed



Top Daily Responsibilities:



• The consultant will deliver major products on three Dean-requested and approved longitudinal program evaluations — REACH Evaluation (Course & Academic Performance Coaching), Service-Learning Evaluation, and Clinical Assessment Specialist (CASP) Evaluation. The programs are all novel and resource-intensive curricular programs initiated with the foundational curriculum. An evaluation of the degree to which they are achieving their intended goals is now critical to determine how to go forward with any continued implementation.
