Customs Compliance Classification Specialist Overview:
Support customs related administrative work, audit and post entry work as primary functions, other compliance activities as required. Position is responsible to ensure that import-export classification related activities related to the Company and Business Unit(s) are undertaken in accordance with applicable policies, procedures, and government regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Request entry packets from brokers
- Save, maintain and markup entry packets and upload them to outside counsel’s website
- Analyze entry packets and validate the correct part#, quantity, country of origin, shipper, commercial invoice number and values and other information and update outside counsels spreadsheet
- Provide stats and discuss weekly output with project team
- Supporting the weekly meetings with reports on the status of the ongoing sampling - **Only those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered.**
