Job Description
Required Education:

• High school diploma or GED



Preferred Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or related field



Required Qualifications/Skills/Experience:

• At least 1 year of experience with CMS guidelines, Medicare Part D enrollment processes, or work in a regulatory environment

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Strong organizational skills



Preferred Qualifications/Skills/Experience:

• 2+ years of relevant work experience

• Experience supporting payer enrollment for Medicaid and commercial programs



Payer Enrollment Coordinator Overview:

• Works collaboratively with team members to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance in enrollment processes

• Serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Medicare Part D enrollment and CMS standards

• Supports both individual members and employer groups with enrollment activities and eligibility determination

• Ensures timely and accurate customer support to enhance client satisfaction and retention

• Reports directly to the Enrollment Supervisor while supporting training and coaching initiatives



Job Duties:

• Submit, maintain, and monitor applications for initial enrollment and revalidation with government Medicaid and commercial payers

• Ensure timely and accurate submission of group and provider enrollment applications

• Assist in developing and improving payer workflows while maintaining compliance with regulatory and quality standards

• Minimize application deactivations by adhering to established quality control procedures

• Act as a point of contact for escalated claim issues and coordinate with payers to resolve them

• Communicate updates and resolutions to internal stakeholders to maintain alignment
