SUMMARY
The Communications Associate position assists with content development across channels. This could include graphic design, writing and visual communication counsel/support for the development and execution of effective plans to communicate with co-workers, customers and other stakeholders.
QUALFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required, preferably in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field.
• One or more years of professional communications experience preferred. Internship experience will be considered
SKILLS
• Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, able to work effectively as a team and with various stakeholders throughout.
• Possesses a high level of organization skills.
• Teachable, and embraces feedback as a means of continuous improvement.
RESPONSIBILTIES
• Assist with implementation of strategic communication plans that help to achieve company goals and objectives.
• Assist with content development across multiple channels to build understanding of the company's position and identify story opportunities for internal and external audiences.
• Assist with storm or crisis communications as needed, to communicate with Companies customers, co-workers, media and other key stakeholders.
• Performs routine tasks or facilitates processes in support of team projects.
