Required Education
• Bachelor’s degree in communications or related discipline

Required Qualifications / Skills / Experience
• 5–7 years of progressive and successful corporate communications and media relations experience.
• Proven track record of increasing corporate reputation with measurable results.
• Experience developing and managing media relations strategies including:
• Strategic planning and execution
• Key message development
• Proactive media outreach
• Reactive media response
• Media training and reporting
• Experience managing and partnering with external communications agencies.
• Superior writing and editing skills.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, organizational, prioritization, and presentation skills
• General business management knowledge.
• Experience collaborating with global and cross-functional stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, multi-time-zone environment.
• Highly organized, adaptable, and resilient under pressure.
• Proven ability to drive change, challenge the status quo, and deliver results creatively.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Corporate Communications Manager Overview
• Supports the execution and sustainability of an external communications strategy for client’s North America.
• Plays a key role in strengthening corporate reputation and awareness across the region
• Oversees sustainability communications and media relations strategies aligned with business units and corporate priorities.
• Partners closely with global corporate communications, sustainability, and business leadership teams.
• Acts as a strategic communications advisor and execution partner for senior leaders.

Job Duties
• Develop and execute sustainability communication strategies for client’s America.
• Partner with global sustainability, communications, and business teams to align messaging and execution.
• Implement best practices in media relations to enhance corporate reputation.
• Support crisis and issues management through messaging development, monitoring, and reporting.
• Integrate corporate messaging into media outreach and executive communications.
• Build and maintain relationships with key trade and local media outlets across the region
• Collaborate with Public Affairs and Supply Chain/Operations teams on local press strategies.
• Manage external agency partner scope, spend, and execution related to media and sustainability communications.
• Develop and distribute press releases, media briefs, Q&A documents, and fact sheets.
• Prepare executives and leaders for media interviews, press events, and public-facing engagements.
• Support global communications events and regional external communications initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal communications teams to ensure alignment between internal and external messaging.
